Adelaide Bank shifts platform
“Adelaide Bank has shifted its margin business
lending applications from a legacy mainframe
platform to windows 2000, using micro focus
tools. ...Arena Consulting, specializing in
COBOL database migration developed
software to convert the data—the application
now runs on a Wintel platform which cost
$50,000 and provides as much power as the
$250,000 UNIX platform on which it had been
running.”
